After the World Championship in Brisbane, Australia, the OK Dinghy returns to Circolo Vela Arco and Garda Trentino. The OK Dinghy is a single dinghy designed in 1956 by Danish engineer Knud Olsen as a more affordable alternative to the Finn. The boat was born in Denmark, but quickly became popular throughout Europe and beyond, with active fleets in the UK, Germany, Sweden, France, Australia and New Zealand. It is recognised by World Sailing as an international class and has a very competitive racing circuit. Among the technical features that make it appreciable are: Flexible mast; Balance between technique and physicality; Wide range of construction; Very active class.On Garda it will be a hard-fought as well as spectacular World Championship!

Dopo il Mondiale di Brisbane, Australia, la deriva OK Dinghy torna al Circolo Vela Arco e sul Garda Trentino. L’OK Dinghy è una deriva singola progettata nel 1956 dall’ingegnere danese Knud Olsen come alternativa più accessibile al Finn. La barca nasce in Danimarca, ma diventa rapidamente popolare in tutta Europa e oltre, con flotte attive in Regno Unito, Germania, Svezia, Francia, Australia e Nuova Zelanda. È riconosciuto dalla World Sailing come classe internazionale e ha un circuito di regate molto competitivo. Tra le caratteristiche tecniche che la rende apprezzabile ci sono: Albero flessibile; Equilibrio tra tecnica e fisicità; Ampia gamma di costruzioni; Classe molto attiva.Sul Garda sarà un Campionato del mondo combattuto oltre che spettacolare!
